The Foundation – A Passion for Systems & Organization
My love for streamlined systems and efficient processes started in 2013 when I became a teacher and helped open the first STEAM magnet school in my district. I thrived on designing systems that made learning and administration run smoothly. I was always looking for ways to make things more efficient, automated, and stress-free—a skill I didn’t realize would later shape my business.
My Wedding Planning Plot Twist
In 2020, my personal life took an exciting turn—I got engaged and mapped out a year-long wedding planning timeline. But just a few months in, I found out I was pregnant, which meant I had to replan my entire wedding in just two and a half months.
During this whirlwind, I worked closely with multiple wedding vendors and quickly noticed a huge difference—some had streamlined processes that made planning effortless, while others left me chasing down details. That’s when I realized how critical the right systems and workflows are for wedding professionals. The vendors who had their backend dialed in? They delivered a seamless, stress-free experience. The ones who didn’t? Well… let’s just say, I knew something needed to change.

Stepping Into the Digital World
Post-COVID, I transitioned into teaching 6th-grade computer science, where I introduced students to coding, website design, and digital tools. This is where I fell in love with web design and saw how a well-structured website could elevate a brand, streamline client experiences, and ultimately lead to more bookings.
At the same time, I launched my virtual assistant business part-time while still teaching. I worked with small business owners, helping them with backend operations, client communication, and workflow automation. As I gained experience and refined my skills, I started thinking about my ideal niche. That’s when I reflected back on my wedding planning journey and saw a huge gap in the industry—talented wedding and event pros who were incredible at their craft but struggling to manage the backend of their business.
